Go Forth and Wreak Havoc

Last year around this time I wrote a post about being stuck in a rut. Even though the person I was talking about in that post really was someone else, I remembered feeling the same way. Writing that was as much for me as it was them.

Lately, I have been feeling this so I imagine this is a seasonal thing. The weather is gloomy, I haven’t received enough vitamin D; whatever it is… life just feels a little blah. I was getting kind of down thinking about how things seem so repetitive lately. I can’t really tell you about anything that happened last week. Life is meant to be so much more.

Stay with me, I’m getting somewhere, and promise this isn’t the precursor to a farewell note. The thing is, there are good things happening.

I get to see my family every day. My son and I have a routine where he pulls the string on my hoodie every day that I love. My mom is going to watch my son so that my wife and I can have some alone time, which will be amazing.

My job is great and there is always an adventure. Plus I don’t really have a commute so life is so much better off.

Thanks to the Marvel Unlimited App, which my co-worker gave me his login, I am catching up with some of the Uncanny X-men from the late ’80s with Chris Claremont and Jim Lee. I caught a few of those issues back in the day but was never able to read the rest.

Recently, I purchased a journal and hereby make the commitment to start writing about the myriad of good things that happen in my day. If this weather or whatever has you down checking out my previously mentioned post did me a world of good and maybe will get you pumped too.
